What a busy week we have had again in Owls Class this week.  We have been continuing to work on learning lots of new graphemes for both reading and writing.  I wonder if you can spot any of these digraphs and trigraphs in your reading books this weekend: ‘or’, ‘oo’, ‘igh’ and ‘ar.’  In maths we have been working on ‘more than’ and have been thinking about what would happen if The Gingerbread Man had ‘more’ buttons. We have been making up number stories and have been having a go at writing number sentences too.  As part of our PSED work on keeping our bodies healthy we made our own delicious fruit smoothies on Wednesday.  Some of us loved it so much that we had third helpings!  Well done Owls on all your hard work this week.  Don’t forget to do some reading this weekend and to look out for our tricky words and sounds.
