Mrs Rowcliffe and I have been struck by how particularly well Year 5MR have coped with learning from home this week, despite initial technological challenges.  The online classroom has been very different and we have all been learning about how best we can make use of it.  Parents, thank you in particular.  You have been hugely supportive in setting your home learning environments during difficult circumstances.  The children have shown themselves to be versatile and patient as well as supportive of each other during the many Zoom calls in which they participated. Their progress in engagement with virtual learning has been swift and each day became a little easier because of this, thank you all.

For our part, we have appreciated hearing the children's voices during their verbal responses as it reminds us what a wonderful cohort we are working with and we are both looking forward to being back in class with them on Wednesday.

Have a restful weekend – though perhaps not if the snow makes an appearance!
