London Residential
What a trip!
I would like to start by saying how well all of the children who joined us on our trip to London behaved. We received feedback from staff at the hostel, the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament and on the train - complimenting their manners and behaviour and that is an immense source of pride for all of the staff who accompanied them.
We certainly managed to cram a lot of activities into the three days - particularly on the Tuesday with the tube strike. Mrs Fenemore reached a personal milestone of thirty-three thousand steps!
The children walked to and from the Natural History Museum and then on a huge journey from Earls Court to Hyde Park to Green Park and on to Westminster. Whilst this was a challenge in the heat, the children showed great resilience and determination and the ice cream was a complete necessity.
I hope they have all created some fantastic memories! Mr Davis
