Exmoor Zoo Visit
Year 3 were lucky enough to have a visit from Exmoor Zoo!
We were joined by Portia who brought a range of animals, from meerkats to corn snakes to stick insects. The children enjoyed finding out more about each of the animals and having the opportunity to touch or hold lots of the animals. As always, the children impressed us with how well they behaved and respected the animals. We learnt lots of new words like deforestation and extinction. I wonder if you can remember any facts about the animals? The visit was a fantastic way to start our new science topic! The visit was funded using money from the cancelled Lyme Regis trip as well as funds raised by Tempest Photography, Christmas Cards and Stikins name labels sales.
