Welcome to Year 4
The mornings in Year 4 will consist of Guided reading, English, Spelling and Maths lessons followed by two lessons after lunch. We will be continuing the Around the World Challenge and a weekly spelling quiz – these tests will be on a Wednesday and Friday.
In maths, we will begin with a few weeks of learning on place value before moving on to addition and subtraction.
During this term, we will be visiting the Energy for Waste Plant in Plymouth linking with our geography sequence of natural resources and sustainability targets.
