Welcome to Year 4
The mornings in Year 4 will consist of Guided reading, English, Spelling and Maths lessons followed by two lessons after lunch. We will be continuing the Around the World Challenge and a weekly spelling quiz – these tests will be on a Wednesday and Friday.
In maths, we will begin with a few weeks of learning on place value before moving on to addition and subtraction.
Our first humanities subject this year is Geography, we will be learning about rainforests and will be bringing this to life with our first trip of the year - the Eden Project.
